Sam Keenan is a Minneapolis-based composer, musician producer. He writes and produces original soundtracks, scores and songs for film, video, radio, games, advertising, ad agency pitches and apps.
Keenan is prolific and versatile. He is not only able to quickly outline musical concepts but can also follow them through to final broadcast-quality production standards.
Keenan's music has been featured by clients including GameInformer Magazine, Target, ESPN, Catalyst Studios, American Public Media, The Splendid Table, MPR News, Brains On! and Rock Star Supply Co.
His original songs have been showcased on Radio K, The Current and Wonderground Radio. Keenan also performs at venues including First Avenue, the Varsity Theatre, The Artists' Quarter, and The Cedar Cultural Center and at various events including CMJ Music Marathon, Rock the Cradle, The Stone Arch Festival, Zombie Pub Crawl and Rebel Rebel/Rock for Pussy.
He launched the original Song-a-Day project and has written and produced hundreds of songs, releasing several singles and compilations of his music over the years.
